Germanic-American Institute, 301 Summit Avenue
St. Paul, MN

BWW_GAIAs part of the weekend Deutsche Tage (German Days) celebration on June 8 & 9, the Germanic-American Institute and Paulaner Bier will be hosting an outdoor beer garden for the Twin Cities biking community.

On Saturday, June 8th, bicyclists are encouraged to end their ride on the beautiful GAI grounds, located at 301 Summit Avenue in St. Paul. From 12-4pm, anyone who arrives at the GAI on bike will enjoy half-price Paulaner draft beer and brats, each just $3. In addition to several varieties of freshly-tapped Paulaner beer, the GAI will be serving Radler, a German summer specialty drink of beer and lemon soda to be enjoyed during or after a long bike ride.

The Bike für Bier event aligns with this year’s Go Grün! (Go Green!) theme for Deutsche Tage. To help support a more environmentally-friendly event and save a dollar, attendees are also encouraged to bring their own Bierstein or cup.

Beer and Biking are way of life in Germany, a tradition the GAI wants to strengthen and support in Minnesota.
