Create a Team
Become a team captain and create a team for your work site, classmates, apartment building, or even your softball team. Teams make the challenge more fun, can encourage new riders and walkers, and lead to some great prizes. Learn how to create a team and invite others to join your team.
Join an Existing Team
Join a team with your friends, coworkers, or neighbors who have already created a team. Try biking for the first time together and use the many resources on this site to plan a route and events to attend. If your team has already been created, learn how to join the team here.
The 2013 Twin Cities Bike Walk Week Teams competition is open to persons who live and/or work in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota. The competition will pit all participating and eligible teams – big and small – against one another in an all or nothing competition designed to celebrate bicycling and walking as transportation! Learn all about the Twin Cities competition for 2013.
- For every trip a participant makes by bike or on foot during the competition, one point will be awarded, two points for round-trip.
- A trip is counted whether made by bike or on foot.
